Pipes were in pretty bad shape but had no rust.  The ceramic coating on the pipes and heat shields breathed new life into these old pipes.

Getting closer to a completed build.  With the warmer weather coming I should be able to spray the tank, and side covers in the next couple weeks.

Was able to make a big dent in the electronics of the CL this Sunday.  Wired up some Dyna coils and electronic ignition.  Happy to get rid of the old points.  Wrapped up the charging system with a gel battery, reg/rect combo unit and all new end terminals on the wire harness.

Could't wait to mock up the ceramic coated pipes.

Work was done in the shop this holiday weekend.

Brakes are built up waiting for fresh rubber to be added to the wheels.

Gauges and turns refreshed.

Seat pan refinished and recovered.

Engine completely rebuilt and back in the frame.

Over the past few days I ways able to make some good progress on the rebuild.
CBX bronze swingarm bushings are a perfect fit for the 75 360.

Swing arm is on and new Koni rear shocks.  Some Pro Taper bars and freshened up vintage turn signals.

Rims and tires are in for the scrambler build.  Shouldered Excel rims with stainless spokes and beefy dual sport tires.

Engine is all prepped for paint.

Two days in the shop and the bike is completely tore down and cases are split.  Surprised on how clean the engine was.  Looks like it had a recent .5 overbore done.

Everything media blasted except the frame and swingarm.

New Project is in the garage

1975 Honda CL360 Scrambler K1
"Vacation Bike"

100% complete and a strong runner but a little crusty.

First day back in the garage, complete tear down to get it ready for a moderate rebuild.  Engine will be completely tore down, cleaned and rebuilt.

Nice surprise was finding the front end was recently rebuilt, including new "Forks by Frank" tubes.

Plan is for a pretty comprehensive rebuild of the entire bike but leave the paint as is to add some patina.
