Completed the 1978 cb750f this past weekend.

Plan was to keep this one close to stock with a vintage
feel but add some modern upgrades.  Complete frame up rebuild.  836 engine with APE racing headwork.  Completely rebuilt bottom end and CR29 racing carbs.

After going back and forth regarding paint for months I decided to get my bike professionally painted.  This was a difficult decision since my Dad laid down the original paint in the garage.  It looked great, but just wasn't what I had in my head for the bike.  I really wanted something unique but still had the vintage roots.  Since I am color blind I see colors differently than most, so I wanted a painter who I knew had great vision and would be honest with me if I the color combo I chose didn't work.  My inspiration for the paint was the new Ducati Monster evo.  I hooked up with my friend Larry at Meticulous paint and below are the results.  Larry is a very gifted painter and artist.  http://www.meticulouspaint.com/

I finally finished up the rearsets for my 77f.  Since only one company makes bolt on rearsets for the 1977 cb750f I worked with my good friends to make these happen.  Me and branden (has a amazing 78F) mocked everything up  how it needed to be to function correctly.  Our good friend Jim put his garage machining skills to work and made us some one off brackets that had a hanger for the new Brembo master cylinder complete with heel guards.  I decided to go with a set of the new Joker Machine universal arms, Thanks for the link Branden!
